Texas A&M Road to Glory: The Jalin Warrick Story

Jalin Warrick
6'2"
215 lbs.
Quarterback
Dual-Threat

Jalin Warrick - "My goal as a senior is to make things happen for my team. I want to lead them to the state title, which we barely lost last year. I want to accomplish so much for my team while trying to keep the recruiting process to a minimum distraction. I don't know what to expect going into this year, but I want to take my team to the Championship.

Right here, in front of my Steele Knights family, I vow to do the best that I can in order to get them what we want.

As far as recruiting goes, my first three choices are as follows

1. Florida State
2. Texas A&M
3. Oklahoma State

I look forward to seeing what the recruiting process has in store for me and this is set to be a wild ride. Thank you."

We played great football all game long and that's the way we want to continue to play and let teams know we are one of the top contenders in the state. I would also like to add another school has shown interest in me, no offer yet though, but I did get some interest from the Arkansas Razorbacks."

Game 2:

Vs. Sequin High School

Jalin Warrick - "I'm happy to say that I received scholarship offers from 4 total schools this week after my performance. Unfortunately, the coaches have informed me that I am being ruled ineligible for the rest of the season due to an issue with location. I would like to apologize to my fans and my teammates. I was unaware that my family was outside of the territory in order for me to attend this school as I stayed with my grandparents most of the time. I will take the rest of the season to continue to work and decide on a college. Thank you and again, I apologize."

11 of 14 completions, 320 yards, 4 touchdowns

302 rushing yards, 4 touchdowns

5-Star Quarterback

Signing Day

Jalin Warrick - "I'm not going to lie, it was a tough process to not be able to go out with my team when they won the state championships. It was also very tough for colleges not to see me live up to my full potential. Regardless, I have made my college decision with the help of my wonderful family and support system. I want to go to a school that utilizes my ability to the fullest, a school rich in tradition and academically proven. I know many will be happy with this decision. I'm signing with the Texas A&M Aggies"
