Chachi asks YOU| Titans Draft...

My son adopted the Titans as his team going into last season. He has been browsing the draft media while putting together his mock draft and has discovers polls. He really wants to post a poll somewhere and rather than register him on some site, I thought I would post it here.

Chachi wants to know, who do you think the Titans will take in the first round?

Munchak said he wouldn't select an interior offensive lineman in the first round a while back, but with as bad as this interior line is, and as bad as Eugene Amano is at center, Peter Konz may be too good to pass on. If we don't go with Konz, it almost seems like a given that we'll go defensive line. Nick Perry, Michael Brockers, Whitney Mercilus, etc.

Luke Kuechly was brought in for a visit some time ago, but Akeem Ayers and Colin McCarthy have 2 LB spots locked up for the next 10-12 years, and Will Witherspoon played some solid football in Jerry Gray's defense, and while he will be 32 this year, it seems unlikely to me that we'd go with an LB in the first round, whether it be inside or outside.

Munch could definitely surprise us all, though. Last year it seemed pretty much all but given that the Titans were gonna go with Nick Fairley in the first, then we took Jake Locker. After the draft we had last year, picking up what looks to be franchise-caliber players in Jake Locker, Akeem Ayers and Colin McCarthy, along with 2 great rotational players on the d-line in Jurrell Casey/Karl Klug(with Casey having the potential to be the unquestioned starter at DT), I feel I can trust Munch's pick, whoever it is.

Overall, we're most likely to pick either Konz or one of the many defensive linemen prospects who will still be on the board at 20.
