This game is played taking the last letter of the previous movie title to create the next movie title. For Example

Appledumpling Gang

Go For Broke

Escape From Witch Mountain

Nanny McPhee

...and so on.

I am quite familiar with this game, and I have two things to add.

First, the word "the" does not count as part of the title. ex. "Godfather". Not, "The Godfather".

Second, Sequels are named by their title name. ex. "Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back" is incorrect. The name would be "Empire Strikes Back"

Nice pick up, and yes. Also numbers can be can be referred to thusly -III = three, for the purposes of using a letter vice a number.
