The New England Patriots and the New York Giants aren’t playing in such a “new” situation. Kind of reminds me of the year 2007 when the Giants and Patriots faced each other in Super Bowl XLII and the 18-0 Patriots fell to the Giants, 14-17. Well, we will see a rematch as these two teams face off once again in a few weeks.
As both Harbaugh brothers were eliminated today, let’s go back [...]
The Baltimore Ravens exploded in the second half, downing the Kansas City Chiefs by a 31-13 margin when all was said and done. The Chiefs and Ravens headed into the break knotted at 10, but Baltimore came out firing in the second, putting up 21 points while limiting Kansas City to three. It was a fourth quarter scoring bonanza for the Ravens, who put up 21 unanswered points to pull away for the win.[...]
The last couple of months have been eventful for the Ravens safety. During this span he watched as his real job went into a lockout. His professional boxing career got off to a 4-0 start. And most recently, he failed his first drug test of his new found boxing career.
That didn’t take long now did it?
Former Notre Dame and current Baltimore Ravens safety Tom Zbikowski was among five fighters suspended for failing…
The Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) beat the Baltimore Ravens (12-4) with a final score of 31-24 in the divisional round playoff matchup between the two AFC North heavyweights.
The Steelers will now advance to the AFC Championship Game for the fourth time in the past seven years in which they are 2-1 during that span. Moreover, they’ve [...]
Looking at this game objectively, one thing comes to mind…..
EITHER team could come off with the win.
The Chiefs have an amazing rushing tandem in Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones, and usually use them quite effectively.
They also are in the “excellent” range when it comes to holding on to the ball….
1. This Defense Is REALLY, REALLY Good
Seven turnovers, including an impressive interception in the end zone by the best safety in football, Troy Polamalu, are evidence of that. Seven takeaways by one team just doesn’t happen. Teams are too careful with the ball after even the first turnover they commit.
They shut down the first running [...]
Offense: C-. I don’t blame the offense as much as I blame the shitty play calling, but the offense was still some shit. Sanchez actually looked better than I thought he would. The O-Line had a tough matchup, but had way too many penalties. The Ravens were just stacking the box and going downhill all game long, the O-Line did alright. The run game did nothing, but again that goes[...]
With the NFL season less than a week away, it’s time. Time to really start gearing up for the NFL season. Favre is back, Kurt Warner is gone and it looks to be a very good NFL season and hopefully not the last we’ll see for a couple years with a lockout looming.
Here it is, my 2010 Previews and Predictions open for all [...]
There is no better division in football than the AFC North. Even the team most consider the bottom feeder of the North, Cleveland Browns, could make a serious run at winning a few other divisions.
Baltimore made the playoffs for the third time in four years in 2009. Many pundits were surprised, given the fact[...]
One of the darkest moments in Cleveland history, along side of the Lake catching on fire, the Indians losing the World Series to the Braves cuz of Jose frickin Mesa, was Modell high-tailing it to Baltimore.
Fans will never forgive him. But very recently, this week, one man did. Bernie Kosar.
For anyone that doesn’t [...]
