Yeah, that’s right, I said it. Vote for Manny Ramirez to play in the All Star Game. Logic to follow. Will You Vote For Manny?
After hearing the news that Manny Ramirez was fourth in All-Star voting so far this season, Jason Rosenburg decided to take action. And so Vote For Manny was born. There is no rule from keeping Manny off the ballet, since he is eligible to return to baseball on July 3, which is 11 days before the All-Star game in St. Louis. He trails only Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun, Alfonso Soriano of the Chicago Cubs and the New York Mets’ Carlos Beltran. However, the Los Angeles Dodgers plan — if they do indeed have one — is to stick Ramirez in the minors before he’s allowed to re-join the Dodgers’ outfield.
