The Final Word From The Super Bowl

The Final Word From The Super Bowl

I tried to convince myself that I didn’t care about the Super Bowl. I wrote an article about how much I hated this postseason. I didn’t even watch the entire first quarter because I was antiquing with my girlfriend (bought a nice new kitchen table, thank you very much). But in the end, the massive football fan in me couldn’t resist watching the last football game [...]

“The Stack” 2-8-12

Not going to lie. We had to dig deep to find some really good stories to talk about in Wednesday’s “The Stack.” So hope you like what we have picked out and as always, if there is something you want me to talk about, let me know. Now let’s see what made “the stack” for today, Wednesday, February 8:

1. Memphis to join Big East. [...]

Super Bowl XLVI; A Father's Pride and Joy!

Super Bowl XLVI; A Father’s Pride and Joy!

I’ve been blessed in life to have two wonderful sons, Louie is 6 years old and Evan is 3 months old just born on October 27th and six weeks early. Evan spent ten days in the NICU and excelled so well that they released him weighing under five pounds (4 pounds 7 ounces). We started off Super Bowl Sunday by just spending time with one another joking around, watching movies and playing Wii. [...]

The New York Giants: Super Bowl XLVI Champions - Game Recap

The New York Giants: Super Bowl XLVI Champions – Game Recap

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls – your New York Giants, champions of Super Bowl XLVI! It has been the most unlikely of journeys. The Giants were 7-7 only five games ago. No one can actually say why or how they were able to come together as they did. They had their backs against the wall and were in must win situations since Week 15. Today, they won their fourth [...]

Footbasket: Rapper Birdman Bets $5 Million on Patriots

Footbasket: Rapper Birdman Bets $5 Million on Patriots

The Super Bowl is a gamblers paradise. Bets on the game, prop bets, and just about anything you can put a wager on that pertains to the Super Bowl.

New Orleans rapper, Bryan “Birdman” Williams is looking to capitalize on the gambling craze of the Super Bowl. A man who clearly has too much money [...]

The Sports Bank.net: Super Bowl Media Day Map: Patriots and Giants

The Sports Bank.net: Super Bowl Media Day Map: Patriots and Giants

I love maps, don’t you? And with a football related map- this is pretty cool. Where all the New England Patriots and New York Giants players/coaches will sit for today’s Super Bowl media day.

You can see who the big draws are, because they get stages, while the others don’t. [...]

Super Bowl XLVI- New York Giants vs. New England Patriots

Super Bowl XLVI- New York Giants vs. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots and the New York Giants aren’t playing in such a “new” situation. Kind of reminds me of the year 2007 when the Giants and Patriots faced each other in Super Bowl XLII and the 18-0 Patriots fell to the Giants, 14-17. Well, we will see a rematch as these two teams face off once again in a few weeks.

As both Harbaugh brothers were eliminated today, let’s go back [...]

Cowboys vs. Giants: As Usual, This One's HUGE!

Cowboys vs. Giants: As Usual, This One’s HUGE!

There has been a lot of talk about tonight’s NFC East Division showdown between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys.

I have purposely remained rather low-key about the game because I frankly don’t know what to expect from either team. After watching some pre-game analysis this morning on the NFL Network, I can no longer remain silent. [...]

Michael Vick Injury: Eagles QB Suffers Broken Hand In Loss To Giants

Michael Vick Injury: Eagles QB Suffers Broken Hand In Loss To Giants

Michael Vick was banged around again this week as the Philadelphia Eagles took on the New York Giants, suffering a broken right hand as a result of the hits he took throughout the game. Just like last week, Vick was hit early and often, sometimes after the ball was released. And after the game, Vick blasted the officials, saying they have to do their job and protect him.[...]

Giants Observations

Giants Observations

Here are my observations of the Giants in their loss on Sunday.

QB – Eli had a “typical” Eli Manning game. Some good, some bad. He had a nice long completion to Hakeem Nicks, A lot of his throws were high and he still gets “happy feet” when he gets rushed. His INT was a tipped ball, due to the O-line getting pushed around. it is time for him to step up and take control of the Offense. Grade – B [...]
