Whenever the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox face off against each other, you know it’s going to be a great series that has the potential to be special. Not only due to their historic rivalry, but because of how close the games usually are between the two American League juggernauts.
Unfortunately for the Yankees…
Alex Rodriguez has been alleged to have engaged in high stakes poker games with other celebrities in the recent past. These supposed illegal contests have hurt his image during a time when he hasn’t been producing on the field due to injury. I am an aficionado of poker and have some suggestions for the highest paid baseball player:
He shouldn’t deposit money into any offshore poker accounts…
Richard Rubenstein, the publicist for the amazing life story that is Alex Rodriguez, claims the New York Yankees’ third baseman is looking forward to cooperating with MLB in its investigation of his “alleged” involvement in illegal gambling, specifically underground poker games.
Star Magazine apparently reported last month that Rodriguez was seen playing back door…
Mark Teixeira set a big league record Tuesday evening when he went yard from both sides of the plate in his team’s rainy 6-0 win over the Chicago White Sox.

Hello everyone and welcome to today’s “The Stack” with me, Nathan Stacken. What a hockey game last night. We’ll have plenty on that and more so let’s get right to “The Stack”: 1. Bruins cruise, for a game 7. Even before the two teams set foot on the ice for game six, most people believed [...]
I like baseball — I don’t love it. I never had the emotional/sentimental connection most kids experience when they are young and they play catch with their fathers. I passed a football with my dad. I shot hoops in the driveway with my dad. As for baseball, I always liked it, but I never felt a rapport with the sport itself.
I enjoyed the steroid era. I enjoyed watching all the home runs and admiring…
