The Green Bay Packers saw their storybook season come to an embarrassing halt yesterday (Sunday, January 15) in a 37-20 NFC divisional playoffs loss against the New York Giants. Like the Philadelphia Phillies before them, who had the best record in baseball until they fell apart in the MLB division series, the [...]
The New England Patriots dominated the Denver Broncos in the 2012 AFC Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. The Patriots jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, but the Broncos were able to force a turnover and look like they’d make it a game by cutting the lead to 14-7, but Tom Brady wasn’t going to let that happen. In the second quarter,[...]
Right now Tim Tebow is much more than a Denver Broncos quarterback, he’s a pop culture tour de force. Everyone has an opinion on him including the writers at “Saturday Night Live.”
Last night Taran Killam played the overanxious Tebow, Andy[...]
Wow! Tim Tebow does it again. What a way to end NFL wild card weekend. Picks, not great. 2-2. Room to improve. “The Stack” is here today to break down all four wildcard weekend matchups and preview the big BCS National Championship Game between Alabama and LSU. Now let’s dive right into “the stack” for today, Monday, January 9:

Oh they did? Shoot, could have fooled me. They were an absolute embarrassment. [...]
The Buffalo Bills held a 21-0 lead after the first quarter against the New England Patriots in Week 17. And then the Patriots ran off 49 unanswered points to win 49-21. Such is life in 2011 for the Bills.
Tom Brady, as ever, spear-headed the Patriots’ offensive assault. Brady threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns, passing Dan Marino for second place on the all-time list for passing yards in a single season, [...]

Generally when talking about Mike Wallace the first thing you think of is “Man, can that kid fly!” and not, “Man, I really hope we can not go up top to him time after time.” But, if the Pittsburgh Steelers want to take All Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis as far out of the field of play as legally possible, then that may just be what they need [...]
Regardless of seeding, there wasn’t going to be a single team in the NFC with an easy road to the Super Bowl, but the Eagles might have gotten stuck with the worst draw of all.
If they don’t want to get bounced from the playoffs right away for the second year in a row, the Eagles’ defense will have to find a way to contain the always-dangerous Aaron Rodgers and his receiving corps…
The Counselor is IN:
My wife and I had our second child, a little boy, three months ago. I forgot how much work a little one can be. Because my wife works in the evenings and I was getting around 4 hours sleep a night, I did not make opportunity to keep up this blog. My son is now sleeping much better which means I am not as exhausted and I have a bit more time.
From here out, you can expect regular updates to the Fantasy Sports Counselor and just in time for Fantasy Football prep. You will be given cheatsheets, articles on players, strategies and much more over the next two months. During the season will have the usual articles including my weekly fantasy injury report (and twice a week when there are early games)
