Because at certain times during an offseason or right around the trade deadline, we might need to mutter those five words to ourselves in a repetitive fashion. Because sometimes, another team might ask for what seems like too much. Or a player might ask for what seems like too much money. But there’s nothing like a championship, so you go through with it anyway.
While the addition of Rasheed Wallace is both accepted and now anticipated by all of us, the Celtics still face some glaring holes on their roster card, with no gap proving to be potentially more lethal than the small forward position.
A backup point guard still needs to find his way here, as does another inside-loving big man to better compliment Wallace and the rest of the pine people next season.
