It ‘s a mute an unimportant point whether the 15 minutes of fame that Dallas Braden began accruing after his pugnacious rant at Alex Rodriguez is extended much longer. And simply pitching a perfect game, as stellar an achievement as that is, is no guarantee of continuing fame or sustained success, especially if it’s a singular occurrence in an otherwise mediocre career, a plateau that Braden is still looking up at.
