First of all, I have to say, it was my utmost pleasure putting this special edition together. In a way, putting it together was a way for me to honor Scott in a way that I could…through my graphics… and I was happy to oblige him…

This tribute captures Scott in all senses of the words, through the stories of others, through his own words, and through everyone here at the SJ family honoring him each and every day.

It was especially disappointing to see the Badgers hurt them selves via the yellow flag after ranking first in the NCAA with only 2.92 penalties per game. The Badgers were set back 41 yards from six penalties, none bigger than a couple of pass interference calls against the defensive backs which kept a couple of key Horned Frog drives alive.

A person with direct knowledge of the decision tells The Associated Press that TCU is moving from the Mountain West Conference to the Big East after the 2011-12 academic year. The person would not comment publicly because the decision had not been announced.

It all started on January 1, 2007.

An unknown school called Boise State went undefeated with a 12-0 record and was the 8th ranked team in the nation. The no-name school was selected to play in the Tostidos Fiesta Bowl on New Years Day against the Big 12 champion Oklahoma Sooners. The No. 2 TCU Horned Frogs (10-0) blew out the No. 5 Utah Utes (8-1) in a commanding 47-7 victory on the road today. It was a crazy weekend in college football. For the second straight week, the #1 team entering the weekend is not atop the standings on Sunday. Alabama fell to South Carolina last weekend and Ohio State got upset by Wisconsin on Saturday.
